How strictly is smurfing, dropping and dodging going to be enforced? The way I see it, unless you make examples of 'elite' players who love to take part in all 3 of these actions no ones going to care. I didn't even realize it was there until I mis clicked and read it anyway. Maybe the launcher needs a new 'news' post.
just wanted some discussion on this topic. if there was already a post about it direct me to it.

How about this:
Why not add the Forum Name to the tooltip of the players inside the launcher?(Right above the rank icon.
Would look like this then:
Ucky
Forum Name: LuAn
Rank Icon
Standartenführer - (3)
Wins: x
Losses: y
Draws: z
It would a anti smurfing start, and as soon as its possible to have several launcher accounts with 1 forum account this would be the ultimate anti smurf function.
And btw: I have 5 Launcher logins all using the exact same relic account name, so i dont understand why people have different names for different factions?

bear in mind that the definition of dodging that Akranadas is not the one which most people use when talking about dodging.
Leaving games in launcher is still fine if you don't like your opponents.

2. Smurfing
For those who do not know what smurfing is, I'll explain it:
"Smufing is an act in which a player intentionally sets out to deceive other players within the community of his identity to place the people he's facing at an unfair advantage. Usually to grief another player (forums or in-game), or to force a player to play you when he wishes not to."
The behaviour has become more and more of a problem lately and we wish it to stop. Users hiding behind fake accounts on the forums will be punished, and users smurfing to get around players not wanting to face them will also be punished. Users have the right to play the game without having to worry if X player is really X player and not C. i define this more like its no wanted behavior if you make new accounts for some griefing companies and to be able to join players who not want to play you i don't think that bad behavior is to use just different names for different sides and serious accounts |

really the no smurfing rule will only hurt players like you bigdick because you'll have to use your real name instead of hiding behind a smurf and luring people into your game.
I agree having a name for axis and allied would be ok since I myself have blitzkriegbop on axis and my regular name for americans.

everyone playing eir regularly (not like you waiting as blitzkriegbop days for a stomp to say then hey i play wehr and i own) know the names i use btw: currently i not even play eir cause the balance state and the availability system don't let me |

what amuses me is despite the fact I have used the same name for almost two years the smurfing has gotten so bad lately that I have been accused of being other players.
Theres no reason for anyone to use multiple names apart from to deceive.
