This maybe considered another game of how EIRR's balance is at the moment, but it's at least one of those few games where there are no silly players babing their vet or not willing to win.

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Cause honestly, I have not had a better game in months.

Unique companies, and top notch players pulling every trick in the book to come out on top.

Yeah, there's backcapping, but it is a legit way to reduce enemy pop cap, and you guys used it just as much as we did. Dont see a problem with that, i considered this game quite balanced, till you guys ran out of AT and it was a freeforall infantry hunt down.

actually he probably means the light vehicles and cheap armor
but this replay show too why i don't play against players like puddin

in the past it was the 3 sniper in ranger blob now its a 3 stuh blob or 3-5 puma blob or a 4 shrek gren blob

gimmick is imho to have the same unit type on the field at once

it dont need to be really spam company wise its retarded enough to blob 3 stuhs or 4 pumas

Puddins company isnt that spammy, and besides hes got nothing there thats impossible to counter.

i think a 7-8 puma company is same spammy as a 7-8 T17 company but that isnt even my complaining
and i know that it is "counterable" (other than a kangaroo+bren+piat+churchillMKVI with tankshock start in R mode)

but it is just no fun to be forced to bring out a blob of hardcounters for each wave of units

thats not how i want to play even in my "light vehicle company" i had mostly only 2 or 3 on the field at the same time

God I thought we really had that one, killed all of the ATG... then once the allies pull out their heavy armor it turns out that I'm the only one with heavy's on our side.

My poor panthers get rolled up like a cheap carpet... but not before one takes out a Pershing yarr!

It was a good game, but only now that i've slept on it Wink

It was indeed a good game.  And I'm glad I pulled out the unvetted pershing first.  Although I'm a moron for losing it.  I was trying to flank, and someone yelled panther in my ear, so I ran off at first b/c i had low health and thought it was a fresh one, not realizing yours was at 5% Sad  Nice job getting 2 shots off before I could get off my one.  Bit lucky you didn't lose your panther then tbh.

I'm gonna shoutcast this game, it was indeed very interesting. It wasn't tactically foolproof which I will get back to in the shoutcast, but for the most part the micro was good on both sides but the counter/what to send against the enemy units was decidely not always perfect from the axis side.

The strategy that axis employed to maintain map control was costly in terms of upgraded infantry and played into the strategy of allies. As long as the t17 remains brokenly good, this however is a very good tactic for allies in terms of forcing attritioning of the axis forces which axis doesn't have that easy time countering, something which I also will get back to in the shoutcast.

Two questions, should the shoutcast just be regular game/whats happening commentary or should it also include descriptions and explanations of EIRR since this is gonna be "advertising" shoutcast?

during 'slow' moments maybe explain why "that works in vcoh but not here because...." or something about cost effective counters etc.

I'm pretty sure Salan and Stumpster always give a brief explanation of EIRR before the game starts.

And yeah, a Hummel is worthless, another Panther or more marders could have been a lot more helpfull for me.

Also elaborate on 'new units' and abilities from vCOH when they occur.

A hummel is not easy to use right, sometimes you can blast whole infantry blobs to smitherin and other days you are hard pressed to hit anything, but it is always nice to have something that lets the allies taste their own medicine.
