I do believe I have spotted and experienced a lot of this behaviour ingame and in launcher this War. People joining games against high level companies or n00bs (for vet) to farm either experience for their army or pps with no intention of playing normally or risking any of their already gained company resources.

I was wondering how this is looked upon by the Dev/Dispute responsible part of the EIRR administration. I for one consider repeatedly joining games with no intention of trying to win reflected in play (none of the vet fielded, quick retreats on anything taking damage and quick surrender) a type of cheating or behaviour that should be unwanted and punished in EIRR. It also griefs players who want to play a enjoyable game when their teammate is just there to help building up some kind of uber company which he after a long life of farming pps and xp finally will play seriously on.

What is the team's take on this, and do we report this? Whats the sanction?

Everything is a symptom of not enough new players and an environment hostile to newbies.

IMHO intentionally winning is more fun.

You mean you don't like level 8s discreetly joining your game full of level 2 and 4 guys? Unheard of.

Experienced quite a few times people not playing past their core call in, or simply throwing everything out in quick succession and leaving asap.

Yeah if people were searching for even games it would be fun, though there ain´t enough people most of the time. But Pro players stomping newbs is just lame.

There is only so many times you can slaughter Lt Apollo, Rocksitter, and Alwaysloseguy24 before you get bored and fall asleep.

I think he means the other way around  - A few lower level players joining a higher level game?

Is that right smokaz?

I can understand the frustration of both ways though, and it definately isnt wanted behaviour.

There are meant to be extra incentives for playing with 'close to your level' players, and even more so for playing vs higher levels.
But if this is creating an environment we're people are not trying to win, then it is *definately* not desired.

I have some ideas on how we can handle that - primarily a 'Automatch' function.   Stacking and game Dodging is a big list of no-nos, and this behaviour is right up there with it.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.
