A BAR on a Gren squad is so good.  Even if it's only 1 weapon, I used to run with just vet 3 grens and their K98's + nades, and every time I picked up a BAR it would be rape time.

A G43 for my M1 Carbine vet 3 rifles would be delicious as well.

Thompsons and Mp44s used to be dropable back in vCoh.

No, the Thompson was never dropable in COH; it doesn't even have a prop.

The MP44 is still droppable; it just has a rate of 1

Is the dps on the g43 actually that good, i looked it up and only difference i saw was 10% more accurate...i dropped most of them from my PE company and didnt notice much of a drop in killing power.

anyone got raw numbers for the damn thing?

Volks love BARs more than Grens. 10 damage Kar98 vs 15 damage Kar98, after all.

Why would anyone want to pick up a G43? It doesn't come with Slow.

Which is why dropped BARs are pathetic. Picking up a bren or lmg grants suppression, but BARs use an ability so it doesn't transfer.

BTW, either none or [practically] all specials should be available in buildings/halftracks. Personally button should not be allowed in garrison since there's no timely counter to a garrisoned squad. Vehicles can be destroyed but buildings take time. Same with slow, it is not allowed in buildings because it would be very hard to break it. Maybe fausts and stickies could work in garrison, but definitely not the gimmicks.

i made flamethrowers, fg42s and riflegrenades drop-able with FallofFrance by doing that   you never really look at the item on teh ground anyways, you mouse it over and a name pops up.

Thompson was a droppable item in the last American mission of the campaign, I ran with riflesquads with a single SMG, bazooka and their BARs, was a true American mixed company!
