Why? Because they are vet 3?
Vet 3 only helps the recon get hit 10% less when fighting a jagd, thats barely noticeable.

letting the jag *snipe* your infantry seems abit lame to me,either you were letting it snipe your infantry becuase they are just sitting there, and let off 3-4 shots  Shocked, or you are over exagerating the truth, Repaly or it didnt happen please.

i can provide replays of sherman firefly (with CCT of course) sniping stationary infantry, except Axis dont leave there infantry out underfire, its just a little thing call less numbers. thats why you dont hear anything about it in the furoms, EDIT: let me rephrase this, all tank destroyers have the chance to snipe infantry, if the jagd does it so much more often than any other tank destroyer than it needs to be fixed. gotta remember Vet, doctrine abilities, and the fact that allie infantry outnumber axis infantry, i belive numbers have to be taken into account to balance such issues.

My opinion.. What vet was the jagd, if it was vet 3 and he actually did snipe your infantry i would put it down to poor luck on your side, if it constantly happen, just sitting at max range sniping all infantry, ok than i can sympathize with you and it needs changing, but i want substantial evidence more than one replay of consecutive play against the jagd, not just picking replays out when it snipes infantry.

sorry, I just don't want my precious jagd nerfed into oblivion.  Its perfectly fine, it just becomes ridiculously OP with H-K.  However, H-K isn't really all that far outta line with other tank buffing t4's...

Well HK just adds insult to the injury of the Jagd.

German steel doesnt protect against AP rounds or high penetration weapons. It makes a already very tough to penetrate unit a little bit harder to penetrate. The HK makes the jagd perform amiably against units it doesnt really deal with that well out of the box - units that already cause the GS KT trouble continue to do so. Also the entire jagd doctrine has stuff that makes the jagd ridicolous while nothing but intensity and german steel buffs the KT. When a jagd runs around with HK and panzerfear it becomes a ultra tough generalist making a lot of usually decent counters to a big lump of AT armor much less potent.

M10s doesnt cease to be a counter to a unsupported KT with GS. You can forget about using those against the jagd if it 2 shots them with its base speed and rotation coupled with other TD buffs to the jagd, especially panzer fear.

Hopefully panzer fear will be dealt with like a lot of the other slow effects that are OP. HK needs to lose the flat accuracy buff to stop the jagd from being a AT Gun pwner and capable infantry killer.

Hunter Killer doesn't seem amazing as a T4 ability, +25% damage, accuracy + penetration for Jadgpanthers and Hetzers.  All the penetration does on the jadg btw makes it actually penetrate a pershing 100% of the time.  25% damage on a jagd is a lot since the weapon does so much damage (i think its 165 then +25%)

You can modify the ability, but i would have no idea how to change it.  Obviously the ability is designed for Pro Hetzers and Jagds, but i think it's probably a better ability if you spam hetzers.

What other buffs the TD doctrine gives the Jagd?  You mention panzer fear, but thats not directly to the jagd...and it has a counterpart on the British side...

You can ignore a KT and just backcap around it, its very doable.  You can't do that to a jagd with twice the speed.

In addition, the jagd that game also got hit twice by bombing run, a KT wouldve taken massive damage from it, the jagd didn't due to a damage table bug.

On top of that, KT gets owned by RRs, jagd doesn't.

You do realise that what you call "max range" for the jag is actually it's medium range (with telescopes it's at 45 medium), at which the jag has a cool 1.0 accuracy modifier.

0.4*0.4*0.4 = 0.064

A 6.5 percent chance of it happening - meaning it can happen, but you're hit by a few unlucky dice rolls. It's a game based on chance, don't expect it to always be fair Smiley.

the jagd is ok like it is even with hunterkillers
all it need is like tigers,pershings,kt need to be a hardcap of 1

and if you really change something about the unit itsself make its accuracy against AT guns lower
