Soo anyone going to try the game? As far as i know, there are people here who play games on steam, like tf2 and l4d..

So i though that some of you may be trying out the killing floor as it is free for this weekend as a "try out" for the new weapons, maps and else.

I, myself own the game already but i encouraged Nightrain to try it with me, and in about 30 mins or so, the patch is coming and we are able to play ^^

I heard that it's like budget version of L4D.

I wouldnt compare it to l4d really.
Its more like that l4d is 90% teamwork, 10% shooting everything that moves.

While Killing floor is basicly the opposite, about 25% teamwork, 75% shooting. So if you like to lay waste on endless specimens, you should try it out lols..

Ah.. Spamming bullets here and there on the whole bunch of crazy specimen, and accidently hitting a fleshpound with your puny pistol.. Nothing beats being instagibbed in mere seconds  Roll Eyes

I own this game and I've played it a lot. It is really fun but the novelty wears off after you've killed the population of Great Britain off multiple times. The rank system is fun though.

Yeah.. You got that right

I just tried out it and, damn.. I didnt think that the new weapons were that good ^^ I fell in love with the grenade launcher and pipebombs..

The new class name though... "Demolition", the new weapons.. It feels like the Demoman from Tf2 had been fired xD

Grenade Launcher and pipe bombs? Must go and see this. Hadn't played in a couple of weeks, they made the medic class worth taking and a lot of the new things are pretty sweet. Since the game has come out they have added quite a few new things and most of them are free.

Second edit- This new patch has broken the game... The nade launchers and pipe bombs make everything way too easy and with competent medics with the needle gun you can never die.

I noticed this aswell.. I think this is pretty much becouse of spamming them. Many ppl are trying them at the same time so basicly, once again spam wins ^^

Still it is a pain in the ass when you are crapled by a clot and you have to get yourself off it.. Well i really dont recommend to use the nade launcher in close combat xD

i had no idea there was an update or patch coming out for this. ill have to check it out. i have it as well, its a fun game. and yeah the novelty wears off after a bit, but i think it was more than worth the $15 i spent on it. its great to play with friends, and i like it better than L4D because i feel you stick together more in this, and the pace of the game is different.

If you ask me, its fucking gash, the zombies are so: unbelievable and the average player skill is well below average.

Well since it's the free try out right now the servers are packed with newbs and I actually had a screen cap of my score of something like 600 some kills where the closest to me was like 90 or something. If I can find the folder where the screen was saved it's almost epic enough to be postable.

And this IS NOT L4D! It's not meant to be believable. It is completely over the top Tarantino Grindhouse and that is what I love about it.

I don't know how many people have added me as their friends  in the past few days. It's nice that there are a bunch of older players on right now too. Tons of lvl 5s and 6s taking advantage of the news guns in the first lvl.
