Order of War

Two words:
*YAWN*
Thats right, the game is so boring, that BOTH words are yawn.
Its quite pretty, and seeing a large number of tanks and vehicles is very satisfying - when you can see them.
A whole heap of tiny dots strewn across the map is REAL fun.
The main tactic of DRAG ALL, SEND ALL TO SPOT works a treat.
When they said they were making the game more accessible to casual players, THEY WERENT KIDDING!
Theres no line of sight.
So, if youd like a less strategic, dumbed down version of 'World in Conflict' in WW2 - go nuts.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Yea, it's basically WiC in ww2 i played it, it was pretty boring and just annoying. Lots of neato units though but the game-play is kinda blah.

"I have proof!"
"Whatever, I'm still right"
Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Well, I'll be honest, I could have really enjoyed the game.
But the lack of Fog of war made it.... babyish for me.
Oh look, here come reinforcements - send the exact amount of forces to counter.
Etc etc.
Multiplayer in this is painful, its about who can spam / move their units the fastest.

Anyone here played Thatre of War? apparently thats World in Conflict but WW2 aswell. I was hoping this wasnt entirely true ( i like WiC good fun if u know what ur doing), but from what ive seen, it has a few obvious similarities.

Never EVER not cut leave out the blood drippings on a computer case.
I did, and the Power-supply literally EXPLODED.
The most uncomprehensible post on the forums... Ever.

Theatre of War... isn't simmilar.
It has WiCs scale in maps, CoH scale in the ammount of units and Men of War scale in unit realism... If that makes any sens.

if your PC can handle it. So far it is very very tough game to roll. Everything is somewhat realistic in it. I think it is more realistic than Men of War

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

Combat Mission is still the best when it comes to realism. Theater of war just tries to do way too much.

i agree
there is only like 1 really good wwii rts game: COH and the rest are mediocre. In fact ruse might even be mediocre. there are way too many wwii games and barely any are actually fun. there are a lot of other good wwii games but they just get old fast.

it's one of those games where you want it to be good so you root for it, but it just fails. Honestly I just want a decent axis and allies computer game...then I'll be fine.
