Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

A road trip CD without Chris Rea? Might as well make three cd's with Amy Diamond then, serves you right.

Chris Rea -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1EBw_da7BZk

Yeah, I had a 500GB HDD all set up with music and links and ratings etc etc, it blew in March - along with almost all of the EIR:R backups =)

Thats why I made this thread, to see what other peeps are listening to.

That's why you backup the backups by hand. Paper isn't that reliable so you might want to carve it into stone.

Well I was gonna suggest RHCP, but you've already listed it.  I'll see what else I can come up with.

I would die for a in-car movie of it.. let your hair out. Picture slowly zooming out on you taking off your sunglasses as you swing around the corner of Red Light District, My Favorite Game trucking @ max in the background.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7mPyhb7LazU&feature=related

Come on you cant honestly say this doesnt appeal to you and your road movie cd.

On a even more serious note, anything by Fatboy Slim, New Order. Might fit into the first cd. Just noticed the themes of the cd's, eww thats skewed. Queen, Cream and The Who can go into the second.

And who can seriously drive a car without Fugees and Killing Me Softly as you drum up the engine on that highway to a broken heart.

Ok, I am on my way out of this thread, lol. Its too tempting.

Anberlin has some pretty fun driving songs (they're an alternative band I think).

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2exE-td4F3k

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QX6f3EO2r8A

First one is called Paperthin Hymn (great song) and the second one is called Autobahn (which is actually about driving down a ride lol).  Hope you like it.
