Of Mice, And Men. Fucking amazing book about 2 guys in the deep south of America. made into a movie too, its easy to read so should be easy for you.
+1 should be recognised aswell as it's a book used in english G.C.S.E exams, well sometimes- However Lord of the Fly is the more advanced book, completely different. my brother had to read Lord of the Fly and said it was incredibly boring.

Milton's "Paradise Lost", and a set of cliffs notes = A+ book report. Trust me, im an English Major. Paradise Lost is a great great truly great book. It succeeds in humanizing Satan and making him into a sympathetic character even if he is the lord of all evil
J/k, no highschool student reads Paradise lost, you would be caught plagerising immediately.

If you're a freshman or sophomore in high school then just read "The Kite Runner". It's a pretty easy to read book with a good message. My English class uses the sequel "A Thousand Splendid Suns" as one of the required readings for the Wisdom Unit. Plus, there's a movie of "The Kite Runner" so if you get lazy you could just watch the movie. "The Hungry Caterpillar" is a good book to start out on if you're new to the language

Well... if your English is good you can read "Catch 22" but I could see how that would be really really confusing for someone without good english.
One of the best books I've ever read.

Yea, I had been speaking English my whole life, but when I tried to read Catch 22 in my freshman year of high school, I was thoroughly confused.

I really think its the kind of book you don't understand your first read and you wont,at least not fully you gotta read it a couple more times....i love that about books like catch22 and slaughterhouse5 the more you read the more you find out...but i could just be a dumb ass and not notice things the first time.

Starship Troopers 1959, Robert A. Heinlein. Fairly short straight forward english novel. Pretty much my political bible. Probably my favorit book ever right now. I've read it like 8 times

Loosely. In Starship Troopers book they fight against armed Aliens, not against bugs. It has better military command as well not like in Starship Troopers that 100k infantry is sent into battle with no recons nor heavy support

Starship troopers the movie is a lame attempt to plagierize starcraft. Don't believe me?
Arachnid = zergling. The flying thing = mutalisk. The Tank bug = Ultralisk with a flamethrower. The marine guns are carbon copies of the marine gauss rifles in SC. Look at the space-ships, even. Fucking exact replicas of the BattleCruisers in SC.
They didn't get siege tanks because there wasn't enough vespene gas.

Developement on SC started before the developement on ST.
And that's just the OFFICIAL version. Everyone knows that in reality cavemen played StarCraft in their rock PCs way before even Christ was born.

Omg it's like with ak 47 and stg 44, most of the people think that ak47 was improved copy of the stg44, they were just developed in separate places but in similiar time, if something is similiar it doesn't mean that it's copy of that, for fucks sake if your name is Martin you are copying my fcking name?
