Looks promising!
One question, the upgrades you can buy, are they all available, or are they restricted to doctrines, or do they deactive other upgrades to prevent people from having all upgrades available?

I think the idea is that you can eventually get all of them. Since all abilities after the initial purchase are on cooldowns, the origional price has to be high.
a 200 munition upgrade... well depending on map control, you probably have 150ish around 3CPs which is around 5-7 minutes into the game.
Then once you get one it will be very very hard to switch if your opponant brings out the counter right away.
Ex. If you just bought the conscript rifles upgrade, and your opponant just went fast Panthers/P4s then your gonna be in a real bind for 7ish minutes building up the munitions for "Men vs. Tanks" or that T34 barrel upgrade.
I like it. It's new. should be interesting to play.

Oh ok, and yeah, maybe we can offer Apex a gift that he can't deny and thus get the russians as EiR race!

http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=brainchild1. brainchild a revolutionary new idea or concept, having mostly a positive effect to society. The assembly line was the brainchild of Henry Ford, ushering in mass production of automobiles and significantly reducing their price for a while.

It was Fldash and Sturmhaubitze that came up the the original EIR I thought? Am I right or wrong on that?
Apex the stuff looks amazing! You've got some fucking class modders over there. Best of luck, I'm looking forward to playing it.
Do you know what would be fucking awesome, EIR Ostfront that's what.

It actually was 'Thanasis' who started a thread about the vague concept of a 'persistent modification' on RN forums, Fldash stepped up to the plate and started the forums/the actual mod. A few others including myself stepped on board the 'dev train' thought out the concept in depth and it went from there. Credit where credit is due, it's pretty much fldash' brain child . (As for Sturmhaubitze, he contributed in the coding department left and right from time to time but was never a developer as he wanted to work on his own, non persistent, project Anyway, back on topic chaps. Looking forward to playing EF!

Apex was one of the more honorary members of the mod, and helped a lot in the developement in the TLS campaign, but I don't think he was ever a full-time dev, at least not a coder one. I could be mistaken on that, but it should be known to all that EiR is the Son of the Two Gods : Fl- and Phil. I blame Unkn0wn for there not being a bible yet.
