Depends on what you want. Personally I think RSE is the weakest doc, but others would disagree. One thing to keep in mind is that for RCA the Canadian infantry (equivalent to Tommies) weapons upgrades are bugged, which means no brens or riflenades. That's also the reason why most people who run RCA companies use recon tommy spam, which is a good tactic.
I think the Terror Commandos build is really fun, but I'm not sure if it's easy or hard to pull off.

Well, there's a few main "streams" of brittish builds running at the moment :
RSE :
N/A - the main stream of using RSE revolves around not using it at all, and going for something useful, instead.
Royal Commandos:
Commando Piats - focusing almost entirely on Commando Piats, later Commando Ambush squads, this build also usually features a few bren squads and HMGs. Glider-borne, or standard - doesn't matter, depends on what you prefer : being able to cloak, or to use suppression fire. Thank Puddin whenever you fight this - he's the original mastermind behind this.
Zeal Spam - focuses on either large amounts of recon tommies, or bren tommies, or a mix of both. The tough British infantry get even tougher than usual with Brittish Grit T4, and zeal seals the deal in making sure your tommies survive anything short of a V1. Everyone who's gotten hit by this can be thankful to our dear Smokie-poo.
Royal Canadian Arty:
Due to the lack of brens and riflenades, RCA is forced to resort to one of the two : RT spam(with improved rifling, there's few things scarier that don't come with tracks) or PIATs aboard bren carriers. Tons of them. The bren carrier part isn't exactly... that viable, other than being absolutely hilarious, so you're likely going to go into RT spam.
Again, there's two main streams to go to from there :
1) 3 FFs, 3 ATGs and a ton of 25 pdrs with Creeping Barrage! This has the obvious advantage of leaving more infantry pool for your RTs to wreak havoc on enemy infantry. You won't be getting much vet on the artillery, but that's rather OK, at least in my opinion. This happens to be the direct derivative from the "original" recon spam company that I came up with.
2) A priest, or two, or three, or even 4(looking at Night Rain), and rely on PIATs + 6 pdrs on AT. Features quite a few less recon tommies than the other stream, but the artilery gains vet. I personally think this stream lacks AT even more than the other stream, and facing a German Engineering company would be a sure loss without an RA Airborne companion, but it can work. To each his own

Mehehe. Sounds like my Company is like a Legend around here.
I got 3 Priests and rely on FF and PIATs to do the job as anti tank. ATG is there to back up PIATs.
My built is entirely support.
Infantry supported by Artillery. in a 3vs3 I hold the line with infantry and bomb the hell out of jerries if they sit still. One vet 3 Recon sits in Spawn to seek out 300 manpower and 300 munition units or even 95 mp and 5 fuel kettens. In a 3vs3 it doesn't really matter all too much. I'm only scared of:
-Assault Infantry (not Volks)
-Panthers
everything else- either bomb it with PIATs or artillery.

Because a forum post should be like a woman's skirt. Long enough to cover the subject material, but short enough to keep things interesting.

depends on your micro. 6 shermans with OBM and FR with all the doctrine upgrades can be very tough to deal with, but shermans are of course fragile...

A sherman is one of the most fun tanks to micro imo.

the funny thing is they're not really all that fragile. They're got more health than any mainline tank even the Panther, the problem is that Skirts give a 10% dmg hit to the Sherman gun, even the upgun so when you face off a sherman with a p4, you're already down 9 dmg per hit and with the upgun you have slower reload and then p4's have a lot of buffs on terror and blitz but the sherman only gets 'em on armor and they dont nearly compensate, except for ap rounds

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Tym...
Panther health = 742
Sherman health = 636
Cromwell health = 636
P4 health = 600.
So they don't have more health than any mainline tank.

Shermans are 636. I know that from memory.
And panthers are 742 or something.
