***SOLVED***
I've solved this issue and my AutoUpdater is now updating.
Whilst trying to activate a 5 day trial for an MMO a friend sent me,
The launcher which ran through Internet explorer would not load.
Nor could I search the web via internet explorer.
(Oddly enough Firefox had full internet access, but this would not work for autoupdater). There is SOMETHING that Ie does to it.
Apparently, the AutoUpdater has a similar issue in requiring Ie to update or run its interface?
Despite what I know or what the makers may know,
The moment I changed this setting, AutoUpdater, Ran Successfully.
If you're having the issue of autoupdater "Could not download file list"
Try this:
Open Internet Explorer.
Go to:
Tools >
Internet Options>
Connections>
At the bottom, click LAN settings.
UNCHECK Every box.
Apply, Ok.
Voila.
My thanks to those who worked with me to solve this error.
Most notebly EIRmod who spent a good 3 or 4 hours with me one day haha.
