that doesnt matter. it's just 3 tons, or over 6000 pounds. Would be like pushing a very large SUV or truck. Impractical for battle maneuvering but it fulfills your niche that you want.

This is like the one thing that OMG has done that I think we should copy.

Give it 2 men crew, slow move, slow rotation, with a buildable emplacement you can put the gun into.

Easy, give it a disadvantage like Rate of Fire.  Such a gun would thus shoot very slow and hit hard (ie. 57mm) but be useless against mass tank spam, while quicker firing but weaker guns (ie. paks) would be useful for en masse hordes of armor or light vehicles.

If you did this, it would just blow the fuck out of one vehicle every shot. People don't really "tank spam" the way they infantry spam. 2-3 tanks can be "spam" and if you are knocking out a tank every shot or two, it is overpowered. Remember, the first shot is fired basically instantly. All you have to wait for is aim time. If this new ATG had the same DPS of the 57 but more power per shot, it would be superior. Making it better and more expensive would just open the door for all kinds of things like "Americans have no default infantry that are really tough, so we will take a rifle squad and just give it more health and damage." Just use 2 rifles, or ATGs, or whatever it is that you need. None of those things are really different enough to warrant a new unit. A doctrine ability that did this would be fine...and it is called Tank Reapers.

Allies dont notice how powerful their at guns are because most of the time its facing meaty axis tanks. A captured six pounder two shotted a M8 the other day, from full health. The allied light vehicles walk all over paks, so does churchills. They blow up both the crew and the gun. Allied at guns are up to the job but they dont instagib tanks. Even if they didnt their purpose is not to offensively hit tanks, but to pack a hard punch on tanks that try to take them head on.

Exactly, Smokaz has it right.

57mm and 6pdr both do 150 per shot, meaning even bouncing they do almost as much as a tank penetrating. Add in AP rounds and stickies/brens to keep the heavy tank at bay and you control the fight. If it rushes, its at low health if it even wins, meaning easy prey. If it sits back it loses, and if it retreats who cares if it lives, you won the fight and consolidate ground.

Want something mobile, cheap and hard hitting? Firefly/Comet, both work.

They both have the same damage/pen, FF has more range, Comet has higher RoF and less range. Both are much more effective vs units that rely on deflecting shots over units that soak with HP.
