Hi,
I got a question, can someone give me the zook penetration tables on all the german tanks? that would mean:
P4 (with skirts and without pl0x)
Stug (with and without)
Panther (with and without skirts)
King tiger
Tiger
Jagdpanther
Hetzer
Ostwind
Hotchkiss
P4 inf support (with and without skirts)
Hetzer
hummel
Cause I find it saddening that I can't seem to get any kills with rangers, Is it really that low? I know RR's are way better in penetration but since the rangers aren't able to get buffed (no tank reapers and also no vet that gives them inproved penetration) I find them quite useless unless I am fighting PE.

you shouldn't really be using rangers against any of those tanks unless they are distracted and you get behind them.
only ones i would use rangers versus would be stug/hetzer and hotchkiss but even then there are much better ways.

Mjeh, problem is that my tanks can't begin shit against enemy tanks (specially not the heavy ones) and it would also be nice cause infantry is just more usefull at some points.
At guns can be to slow.
Still, would like to know the penetration tables, I mean, from what I have seen it's like
hetzer 1%
p4 suport with skirts 1%
stug skirts 1%
panther 1%
p4 skirts 1%
KT: -1% (It gets extra health it almost seems!)
tiger 0%
jagpanther 0%

try to shoot tanks in their asses.
that what zooks are meant to do.
u may play AB too if u have troubles killing tanks.
and get AP rounds on ur ATGs

if you dont like AT guns your only real option is to go with RRs. or get good with m10s/m18s
but really just go airbourne.

take a look at the target tables for the zook on www.coh-stats.comzooks usually have horrible frontal penetration, but will usually penetrate rear armor, and if you do, zooks usually have a nice damage bonus of around %13 vs. skirt P4s, and %20 for skirt Panthers |

Oh wow...
a 11% chance to penetrate a panther with skirts (for a RR that is 54%)
a 18,5% chance to penetrate a tiger... (do get increased accurcy though)
a 33% chance to pen a skirt P4 (not that bad, but neither good)
a 25% to pen a skirted stug...
This is just... depressing...
suppose no rangers for me anymore excep maybe 1 or 2 of em :/

from XP they are only good with TR, it makes them rather useful, against PE companys a TR company will make them feel very sad, not so much useful against Wehr thou..
historically zooks sucked anyways, so whats the beef? lol..
yaya, this game isnt based on reality, but it seems they got this one right lol.

Only TR's make bazookas worthwhile.... from my heavy US Ranger company I always run... been having fun with Airborne lately in how super cheap and effective their airborne is to rangers, which is kind of sad... Just wish TR had more of a buff, worst game I had was surrounding a stug with 4 TR ranger squads, and the stug killed all 4 squads of rangers while I only scored one penetrating hit... maybe super bad luck... but man I'd trade my left nut for an RR or shrek for US infantry... lol But yeah, bazookas are god awful weapons, better than RRs against vehicles (RR's phase through a lot), and if with a teammate they work wonders on flanking (let the airborne guy go head on), but yeah I agree their penetration sucks a lot, and TR is I believe meant to make bazookas decent and mainly buff ATGs.. god I hate those things.. least with airborne I never have to take ATGs!  |
