Quick question.
Hey, so if at vet 3 s unit's damage was to be increased by 20%, does it mean that all weapons that the unit uses will have this bonus? Also, if a vet 3 squad was to reman a support weapon, does the crew still keep the vet 3 bonus?

If you reman an MG with vet 3 KCH then yes, the mg will still be manned by vet 3 KCH guys. However, the MG itself is not vet 3.

As of Relics most recent patches... yes they would retain the vet 3 support weapon.

So, the support weapon itself has its own vet?

Yar. but it won't show up on any infantry that re-crew the weapon. Nor will re-crewing the weapon and saving it until the end of game bring the HMG team back from the dead. In the event that re-crewed support weapons get kills it's always better to abandon the weapon so the squad reverts to it's original role and escapes with some XP.

(Now that i think back on what we kept... I'm not entirely convinced that the weapon itself retains veterancy I'd have to go looking through the files to confirm that 100% which I cannot do at this time as I am about to move my computer)
