ok, what's the secret? how do i login to newly dl'd eir? i enter username... pword... although oddly i have alt keycodes in my name... it won't let me use them to login...

and i cant' create another account with the same email.

help. make this easy please. what do i do?

I am not sure if the launcher allows alt keycodes.

at this point, i'm sure it does not.

how do i create a new account with my email address? it will not allow me to create a 2nd one with the same email...

sure would have been nice if that was cleared up before i created the account. wtf..?

You need to create a launcher account from on this forum.

It'll be the top right most menu (EIR Menu) and will have something like 'Register for the War Control Panel' or something (first link basically)

ok, that wasn't helpful, so let's try this one more time:

1. i created an account that has a name with an alt code, (2)manno™
2. i think we've determined that i can't use an account name with an alt code to launch eirr.
3. when i create a new account, it tells me my email address is already in use... of course, by the useless alt code named account.
4. therefore, i cannot create a new account.

So, can a sight moderator please delete this account: (2)manno™

so i can recreate it with my email address and without the alt code?

You can use that account, but only for the forum.

Now go to Modify Launcher Registration on the left and change the name to something else, then enter the RO profile name.

The name you login to the launcher doesn't have to match your RO profile name.
