We have a good amount of keys left if anyone else is interesting in playing Heroes of Newerth. its free for the time being and we got a clan already started.
Just post your email address and come onto vent, we're located near the bottom in random multiplayer.

I played dota only on lans and playing this feels exactly the same. But the overview referring to items and recipes is a lot better. It's fun if you can adapt to the game mechanics. But theres so many heroes, you have to wait until you played all of them  |

You could always just play League of Legends instead - not only is it a finished game, there are no beta key shenanigans and it's entirely free as well. Similar concept, too, except HoN is closer to a literal copy of DotA then LoL is but also has ladder implemented. So take which you prefer I guess. |

I quite enjoy it. the game play is very similar to dota, what sets this game out in my mind is the great job S2 did at making this a well rounded game. specifically, they took a great deal of time setting up a good interface with many additional features that really highlights the games focus; multiplayer.
I havnt played league of legions, so I can't speak on its behalf. Most people enjoy HoN, I would at least give it a shot and see what YOU think of it...
