The best battles are the ones that are stacked on both sides.

 Agreed.

That is why I find it kind of funny when people (usually the ones who stack the most) try to get all righteous about calling out other players who stack while pretending they never do it. Maybe they think accusing other people of it makes them immune to scrutiny? (ironic because it does just the opposite)

What they should realize instead is that stacking, in and of itself, is not a negative thing.

However, when someone avoids playing other tough teams with their stack... thats when there is a problem. A true stacker should eagerly embrace any opportunity to throw their stack against another. A bad stacker is one who doesn't. That's when a stacker becomes a stomper, and the latter is actually bad.

It should be onwards to glorious stack battles with no looking back!

I don't think stacking is so bad...if its what you all say it is.. and Wind, in my opinion doesnt stack all time. I am a pretty new player with CoH, about 5 months maybe a bit longer and I played with a Wind a few times in the last weeks. He is just a smart good player...much like the other smart good players who know how to micro, attack when supported, pull back when overwhelmed and especially know when to save troops. Its all about experience.
Do I think some of the truly good players avoid games they know wont be a test. Yes my god yes, but why blame them. DiD Mike Tyson in his heyday EVER fight Butterbean?...no he did not. Its all about what you want out of this game. Some people want to be the best. some people want to just play, (I fall into this category), but we all want to win, there is a slight yet very important distinction between winning and being the best. No one wants to lose all the time, it fosters feelings of WTF....this game sucks I can never catch a break while being the best is more a feeling that others bestow by saying..."Hey thats a good player...I want to play with him or against him to learn all I can.
Becasue as we all know...the learning curve in EiR is steep and fraught with a lotta pitfalls....double panzer 4 starts come to mind for someone with one atg and no stickies on ur call in.

Either way, Wind congrats on ur FF.  You have done a great job getting him there, but remember, victory is fleeting. They never made a movie about a tank crew who survived WW2 from beginigng to end did they?

And wind Me and Kwia will get that FF just you wait and see Wink

EIRRMod should give a Reward vehicle to WHOEVER kills it
Balance Advisors should read my new thread in balance Wink

For the curious, its about interesting extensions for the mod:
Quote
Server created Bounties
Premise
This idea is similar to the bounties created on a person to person basis, but are generated (and cashed in) by the server.

The idea is, that the higher xp a unit gets, and the more often it is used - the more chance it will be picked as a bounty unit.

Areas of interest

This extension will be added to the news banner (or page), and added to the reports screen.  There will optionally also be a report listing all bounties in a particular game being hosted (or after it has been hosted).

Benefits
*Adds to the immersion of the game / war.
*Creates friendly competition between factions.
*Brings a reduction to vet-hunting except through bountied units (because, otherwise the 'bonus' ones wont show up as often.)

Misc thoughts
This idea was resparked by TheWindCriesMarys' sig - I think adding in small areas with things like this onto the news page (along with the latest battle reports etc) will really improve the feeling of a persistent war.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Sounds pretty awesome if you ask me. But then i think that units with bounties on it shouldn't be able to be put in reserve - http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?topic=13849.msg236651;topicseen#new

Exactly, it could also be that after a certain amount of exp the unit could become the "banner" or battlion mascot in a sort of way Smiley if its possible later on giving it a single spec star or banner or name Cheesy it would be a real nice tuch just a thought thou

Uhh.... What? When's the last time I actually stacked, especially against you? Interesting little deduction there...

The last two games I played against you were stack-on-stack battles. Unfortunately they didn't end up well for your side, which resulted in some pretty hilarious quotes being passed on to me from the person who had the misfortune of being your confidant.

Regardless, though, there is nothing wrong with your stacking. In fact the best battles are almost always stack-on-stack.

But here is a tip: unless you are ready to live in a glass house, don't throw the stone. Aka, if you can't admit you stack, its probably a very bad idea to go around dishing out what you can't take. Like me, I'm a huge stacker. But I can admit it - thats the difference.

 Life lesson stuff here.

 -Wind

Wait.. Are you honestly saying I'm a stacker because I played with kiwa and heartmann? Really? I play with them because they're nice and fun to be with guys. If I wanted to truly "stack", I'd call about 31st and KommandoWolf, with whom I have very similar tactics and strategy.
I play with nearly everyone, with the exception being K42, as he is far too laggy (constant 1000+ ping) for me to ever have an enjoyable game with.
Also, nice attempt trying to defame me through my friends. I don't rage about games.

Didn't know you were THAT petty.
