How do i counter double axis snipers and a half track, supported by 2 invisible Paks and several grenadiers with lmgs and panzerschrecks? (without using jeeps)

Without jeeps? You hunt down the halftrack, then send in a fast light vehicle supported by 1-2 jeeps. If he stays in range of his support, bring artillery. Or mortar smoke the entire area and go in. None of those weapons work in smoke.

Pretty much anything in the game *hurts* the mortar ht.. If its entrenched, you flank. If theres nowhere to flank, you mortar smoke or artillery the units protecting the MHT.

Storms, ATHT's, blitzkrieg tanks, Hothckiss command tank blob attack, clowncar flank. They are just shermans with a weaker critical table.

How bout, a detailed explanation of a vet 3 pershing.

Well, Pershing counters still apply. Pershings are stronger than most other allied tanks against frontal assault. Shreks should seek to flank them. Ambushing a pershing with shreks is not moving into medium range at front. Its coming at it from the side or the back. Shreks only penetrate 50% of the time from the front. A cromwell will be penetrated 99% of the time, for comparison.

Pershings are slow. Geschutzwagons will kite them all day. 50mms also seem to do very well against the pershing. Paks always penetrate on the first shot, and is hard for the pershing to fight.

To make it waste repairs, you can attempt to flank with a ATHT to get a threadbreak off. Very annoying for the pershing player.

Pershings are also not very good at shooting stuff like bikes. If you have bikes, you can attempt to block it when you have it outgunned. Mines are also very dangerous to the pershing.

Panthers work against the Pershing. But they need a spotter and they need to be very careful. They dont outrange it by more than 5 units (afaik). Jagdpanthers and KT's beat it up very hard, but pershings wont engage these units unsupported. Dont slug it out at close range with pershings. They are tougher than your Panther by far.

Use your mortar to drop a incendiary mortar in the smoke area,so even if they stick in the general area they will burn Smiley For added rape G43 slow the units.
Or just mortar the area where the smoke is,I'm not sure that will work 100% tho.

Goliath and slow do work on smoked units. RR's might miss it. Mines to a certain degree can safeguard "obvious" mortar smoke attack routes. Incendiary rounds/grendaes. Barbed Wire, for luft and SE? The rather expensive T3 Assault-Flammen squad can also perform inside smoke.

But yes, I completely agree that PE doesn't have any easy solutions to Smoke. Its something I've urged the team to look at.
