Playing Brits, I left my selection in CoH as Americans.

Apparently, there's a bug that prevents your emplacements from working correctly - specifically, my 25lber wouldn't fire!  This bug seems known already.  But wait, that's not what I'm talking about!

I abandoned the 25lber, and another ally manned it and blew up some dirty Nazi's.  Well, we all know blowing up Nazi's earns experience, right?  Except, when I went to re-up my bat, I noticed two things:

1.  The 25lber had been destroyed during the game, but it was still present in my battalion
2.  The 25lber actually had 15xp assigned to it!  Remember, I was bugged and couldn't fire it, but my ally did - killing stuff, earning XP.

Thank you for posting, perhaps this is the missing piece to clearing up the mystery of emplacements not gaining xp.

He forgot. Honest mistake.

But in doing so he's figured a way for emplacements to retain vet.

I wonder if volentairily retreating your own emplacement crew and recrewing it will have the same effect if a brit player has his army selected as US

I can answer this part.

Your 25pdr crew got off field I assume?  If so, working as intended - the crew can get another 25pdr from HQ or something.

If your crew DIED.  Then Houston, we have a problem.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.
