I've been mapping again...

The result:
http://files.filefront.com/Lowlandssga/;8261805;;/fileinfo.html

Description:
Quote
Command on both sides has issued orders to secure the roadway through these volatile marshes. Combat is fierce as both sides grapple in the inhospitable terrain. Due to the nature of the terrian, command has allowed for supply caches to be setup nearby to staging areas. Command recommends capturing the bridges, center, ammo caches, glider wreck, and village.

Don't discredit AMPM, I borrowed his genius sector system here.

Though I appreciate that. Thank you.

What sector system?
In addition I'm not dissing anyone but you're the oldest public mapper around atm I reckon.
And I can tell that every new map is a milestone in your work.

The sectors themselves are static objectives, everywhere around them is painted NULL. In this fashion the objectives must be taken and held. Some field in randomland isn't going to contribute to your victory. It's a really great system. I love it so much I'm going to continue to use it for all of the maps I make, unless another radical change is in line.

Oh and, unkn0wn, NIS rocks Wink.

No, sectors. But they're objectives. Instead of capturing the whole map you capture key locations.

Oh excellent work!  You beat me too the marsh map idea  Wink  As Unkn0wn said, keep up the excellent work!

Question for you, though.  I've been doing sectors by placing resource points.  Unkn0wn's post suggests there is another way.  What is it?

Awesome map! Maybe u wanna make a 3v3 version. But right now this map looks just a bit too much like untouched nature. I would add some more things that make it look more like a combat zone, fortifications, barbed wire, craters, fires burning, wrecks and corpses, then the atmosphere on this map would be so unique and great, a jungle swamp battlefield, true hell on earth to fight in.

Floating corpses...that would be so sweet eh? I'll add those in with the 'denaturalizing' part that apex wants Wink.
