Repair is completely different now.. Armor already get's 2nd repairs moving, and for free. GE pays up for their repair, and stays still. That said perhaps moving should be allowed, both firing and movement seems over the top.
I did take up field repairs with the devs most recently, and apparently field repairs being changed has been in the works for a time now according to Gamesguy.
TH unlocks a t3 to mainly repair.. faster. No extra repair, no moving..
It's more a question of whether or not OBM is out of line, and field repairing having been some of that cherry on top.

lol field repair = kill all your vehicles on the field gg
that mean if you gonna field repair you need to move all your vehicles back.
you already buff the axis ablilties no need to dubble nerf allies ±) playing axis now btw
btw wthat the cost of axis at granade
2 min is way to much should be like slow duration

Armor t4's improve their tanks more than the one tank dedicated blitz t4 does. Heat rounds is arguably worse compared to AP or HE or OBM.
It's more balanced now than it was before imo. Before heat rounds was even worse and field repairs was super cheesy.
Again, I'm sure that if field repairs was considered less than "I got to have that" you would see people buying Observation. But they don't, because before getting that and the Pershing, people want field repairs.
You underestimate the power of OBM on medium/light vehicle heavy companies. GE guy shuffles out 110 munis for Panthers/Tigers to pay for a 2nd repair.
Overall, armor is still extremely strong. However, I agree with you if you think taking both movement and the ability to fire was too much.

no shit, the company is BUILT to kill tanks. On the other hand, your company fails epically vs any decent PE company. Its a one-trick pony.
Smokaz, your claim that HEAT Rounds is inferior to OBM in tank buffs is laughable at best, considering you can get the extra repair AND HEAT Rounds with your tanks.
As for Observation, people that run AP rounds get it, people that light vehicle spam or use pershings don't, simply because the synergy is more effective with OBM.
IMO, buffing heat rounds AND nerfing field repairs is the classic double-nerf that was unnecessary. Buffing Heat Rounds is fine, although I'm curious if it will return blitz to its former state of 90% HR, 10% LW companies, or if people will still diversify among the 3 t4s. However, nerfing FR was overstepping it IMO. However, I know the dev team in general has an innate hatred of vehicles in all forms, and that extends to you smokaz, so I'm not too surprised...

I don't have the desire ATM to go find all the posts you've made in these forums about how you wish the game was more infantry-based. The list of people that love vehicles in this mod starts with david, and doesn't include you.
Paying for the repairs is obviously a hindrance, but certainly doesn't change the fact that you can do anything with a HR/GE or LW/GE company that you can do with an OBM company, only better. FR kept things relatively even...slightly extra health to save their ass and gtfo of situations a couple times in return for permanent boosts to certain stats for the axis...

My wishes dont coincide with what EIRRMOD or the other devs plan for their game, sorry crazy.
Now its 400 hp more in repairs per vehicle affected by FR.. overall, more repair, just less out of wack with how the rest.. of the factions.. doctrines.. in the game... repair.
So by your logic.. being that the extra repair evened out this not-yet described imbalance.. . its tilted towards allies now since they get that extra health.. or is the ability to choose to repair while fighting that was the advantage?
HE/AP vs Heat. What's best? I'd say, HE/AP cause their results are always extreme. Also a HEAT Panther.. or 3 ap rounds m10s? A heat tiger? Or 2 1/2 sherman.
Honestly your just moaning at this point, fine with me lol.

Nerfing officer price and giving global cooldown to smoke shows a distinct lack of understanding regarding balancing mechanics. Price nerfs are meant to discourage purchase of units (multiples of units, in this case, as nobody would unlock the officer and then not buy it), while you simultaneously also nerf... buying multiples of the unit.
Useless double nerf tbh.

imo old Heat rounds field repair and imp barrels were best and best balanced
heat - dmg and pen
imp barrels - 5 more range
field repair - moving and firing
no one complained about it back then tbh , if something is working why "fix" it ;p

Magnetic AT Nades get a much needed buff but its negated by the muni increase. This T3 unlock is nothing compared to a sticky US gets standard.

is the storm tactics leader rifle better than the normal pzgren kar? it has bigger dmg but also higher cooldown and less acc , so i don't know how it plays out in the end ,

players who have OBM on top of field repairs should probably be allowed to move while frield rapairs is activated (not shoot).
not sure about this since FR rapairs 400 instead of 300HP now..
oh and it still sais +300HP over 20 seconds/ 15HP per second in the launcher.
