I don't have time right now to play with the cool movie thingy, but I felt a response was in order.

A couple of months ago I made the decision to pull the plug on the mod. It was dead and no sign of life to come. We can blame whomever, but it really doesn't matter. No one wanted to fix it the way I thought it should be fixed, so why bother wasting my time and money to keep it a float.

Hicks convinced me that he could organize a team to change the mod the way I wanted it changed and encouraged me to give it one last go.

We are changing this mod the way I feel it needs to be changed. It will happen in the order I want it to happen and in a design state I feel will be effective over a long term. None of us are happy with the time line of how this is going. Many of you blamed my management for slow production, but as Hicks has now learned, it does not matter how you manage the team, you just can't get people to volunteer harder. The members have changed, but we have still ended up with a bottle neck of one person having a specific skill set to do the work.

The way I want it done and the order I want it done in may not be correct. It may completely fail. Your suggestions may or may not be correct and I am not going to argue that.

The alternatives for me are either pull the plug, or give it one last go as I see it. Some of you may dwindle away and go play OMG or something in the meantime, but at the end of the day; If we put out a great product people will come back and play it.

We all have one thing in common. We are looking for a great mod to play. Whether it is here today or next year, we will play it.
