SMGs:
All AB infs can purchase 1 Thompson.
Extra equipment:
All AB infs' abilities limit +1.(ex:more grenades and stickies)
Fast shooters:
M1 garand and carbines now can shoot like "real" semi-auto rifles,
AB rifle BARs also gets surpressive fire ability.

Air-droppable Riflemen.

NO, Not the current version which is airborne with rifle weapons.

ACTUAL RIFLEMEN WITH PARACHUTES.

As much as I would love to see B24 liberator carpet bombing, it is unrealistic and we already have bombing run.

Here's my suggestions:
______
T2 that switches Airborne from "airborne armor" to "elite armor"
_______
T1- Pathfinder
Historically, these guys were dropped ahead to establish drop zones for the rest of the paratroopers.

200mp, 1 pop/1 man, Stormtrooper cloak

Able to set down flares on the battlefield with a "drop zone" radius. Any subsequent Paradropped troops that call in within this radius are delivered near instantainously, with no drift.

This would then make dropping paratroopers behind enemy lines optional again. Mainly because you know what the battle conditions are like the moment you want to drop, and there would be no possibility of having troops drift over a random ostwind or puma and get killed on the way down.

Flares can be sought out and killed as usual like a Brit radio triangulation box would be found.

Alternatively to this, they could also have a 30muni radar kit that gives awareness to anything in a 35m radius of the radar box. Id say 3 uses would be cool.

_______
I would love to see the Arieal Intelegance T4 return. Just a random recon plane crosses the map at set intrevals through out the game.

Also, I would really love to have OSS agents introduced in the airborne doctrine. Mainly because they were often paradroped into position.

I dont know what we would do with them, I dont care, I just want secret agents. Smiley

dont think its' a too good idea to be dropping weapons that would make RR squads invincible.

They dont need added zooks. Smiley

I gotta say, after my suggestions, im finding it hard to put forth anything else that would be unique and historical to the doctrine. Mainly, airborne didnt do anything too cool that is not already in the game.

Only thing i can think of are assault airborne, but that's been put forth already. OMG already has them and they are OP, and we already have BAR airborne, which are good enough.

Seconded, and make the same for Airborne Riflemen. they should not be 3 pool either.

it's nonsense that regular airborne costs 4 pool

It is nonsense that they get the best handheld AT weapon too

Thus

I've made the Airborne Seperation suggestion.

Non-AT Airborne 2 pool
AT Airborne 4 pool
