Thread title is funny though, because all I hear from sc players is how comparatively easy and lacking sc2 is in both micro and macro.

Yes I have a key, I've already given my friend key away to (several) people. I've been in platinum 1v1 for the last two resets and platinum 2v2 for the last two resets as well. Fun game but starting to get a bit tedious given the constant resets (which of course will be gone given the transition to release, but still...)

Ye, they wan't as many people as possible to buy it. Blizzard won't focus on difficult games.
But I guess that SC2 will still get quite entertaining, Blizzard usually make good games.

Well, given you have modern conveniences like *gasp* selecting more than 12 units at a time in a control group and *good lord!* smartcast that won't cast all of your spells at the same time thereby wasting them... yes, I guess it is a little bit easier. But it's not THAT much easier. And I don't see how the macro changes, like, at all. There are really no new features that make it easier besides being able to select a bunch of buildings at the same time, but even that's ruined by off-addons for Terran... |

The general concensus seems to be that automining and multibuilding selection outweight the introduction of the new macro gimmicks like the queen larva and mule... and that roaches are gay

Lol yeah you think COH units have bad pathing? Try getting a dragoon up a ramp. Having played sc, watching koreans do dragoon micro is fucking incredible. Seriously those things are fucking retarded |
