I think it's important to say thanks to all the donaters. It doesn't matter how much; you give what you can afford and that's what matters. Most of you are in school or still at home, 5 bucks to you is just as much as 200 is to me. We only need 27 people to donate 2 bucks each to reach our monthly goal.
Its not how much you donate, it's the donating that makes the devs feel like people really care. EiRMoD told me himself that he was so overwhelmed and inspired by the donations. Now he is working his ass off because he feels the community is really behind him.
We often ask or DEMAND changes be made, but give nothing in return.
We were always behind EIRRMOD and devs. except we just dont express it. but we always were, no matter the bickering we do everyday I think i've always tried to express it. This is one of the most innovative mods ever and im surprised that no game company has tried to copy it yet. total war theatre of war list goes on just to be annoying thought i would add the final two close combat games

EiR actually has a lot in common in gameplay with Ground Control(released 2000), which also happens to have stuff in common with games released before it.
It's not to say EiR isn't original and unique : but you can't say it's the very first mod or game to ever come up with the idea of units being called on the field, a limited number of units being available, with no focus at all on base-building, gaining experience on your units across battles, etc...
In short : we're not the first, but we're not one of the mass crowd either.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

Well, unless you count the king arthur game, non that i know of. And i have never seen a mod before that has added so much to the game without changing the true core of its gameplay, as i feel the entire base-building part of the game was never really needed.

Good news is - I have successfully completed the integration code for all but the battalion and battle room pages. The bad news is, thats the easy part done

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.
That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

I Hope EiR:MOD makes a wise choose, like blizzard. And don't release the patch until he is sure it works and it works the way he want.
So to all of you, The mod will be done at the end of summer. Maybe before that we will have an open Beta
EiR, quote me and make it official

Never EVER not cut leave out the blood drippings on a computer case. I did, and the Power-supply literally EXPLODED.
The most uncomprehensible post on the forums... Ever.

The only thing different from GC and EiRR is the fact GC doesn't have support weapons and territory the same way we do ;p. The general idea of units being called in, etc. remains.
If you play the campaign, you also get persistence via experience for your troops.

Biggest one I can think of that EIR reminds me of is Blitzkrieg and Blitzkrieg 2!
But they didnt have much in the way of mission / mission persistency =(
