don't take it personally its just how americans treat every generic culture who kicked there ass in a war. The Vietnamese (to the Americans thats all of asia) The Cubans, etc. Just take it as pride

I don't think anyone can legitimately say that the Cubans beat the US in any kind of war at any point in time whatsoever.

And no, the Bay of Pigs invasion was not a war, it was an invasion of pro-US nationalists using decades-outdated equipment under an aegis of US protection, but hardly a war. I don't think the Cuban Missile Crisis counts, either, and if it had to be a war I think the US won anyway. Plus there was that incredibly one-sided stomp of Spanish Cuban holdings during the Spanish-American war despite how terrible at war the US was back then...
