Yes. It was used as a reward unit so we could use the system, some people have gotten reward points and they chose to buy a Tiger ace.
You only get a single purchase of it so If it dies... it's gone, and it costs the same as a KT.

The rewards are for EIR contests, not necessarily tournaments and usually everyone who participates will get at least something, not just the winners. . We still have quite some to give out indeed, be patient, it's not even really ready yet to be honest.
And just for the record: donating money will NOT give you reward points. And once the war map goes in, everyone will have easier access to the reward units AFAIK.
