It's too powerful on the stug and not powerful enough on other tanks.

Will have to be adjusted.

What do you think a good terror layout would be then? Right now i have Fire and Advance, Recon , Hitlers youth, and Aggressive Maneuvers

If going for LMG gren spam I'd go top and bottom T3s. The top one gives me the ability to shoot on the move, while the bottom one makes me shoot properly while suppressed : resulting in some pretty bad-ass LMG grens.

I tried that, it's fail. You get more badass LMG grens if you go for the T4.

Then explain me why you think going double T3 to get a more expensive KCH unit without Heroic Armor is worth it over getting a T4 that buffs your LMGs while you have KCH benefiting from the T3-T4 aswell.

LMG gren = 240 MP 75 MU
KCH = 330 MP 110 MU.

KCH suck long range, LMG grens still pack a punch. It's mostly the shock and fear factor you're going for when grabbing this double T3, not pure DPS. Psychology is also important in the game.

Pervert pills injure you, don't forget that - and I'd really rather take grenadier grenade spam with it.

You'll need double LMGs to pack the same punch KCH do at close range, which would be investing 150 mun into a squad. You know why people think fire on the move LMGs are so good? Because it is simply new and fancy, once everyone played with it it gets old and people realise how crappy it is.

You'll get a better bang for your buck by going Pervitin and spamming double LMGs while having some KCH to perform the tasks you want the fire on the move LMGs to do.

Personally not impressed by moving LMGs at all.
I find them more suited for Defensive doctrine where you can spam grens a lot better combined with several good inf buffs, officer, medbunker etc.
Dual LMG unlock is also pretty useless imo. I find this also better suited for Defensive doctrine, where your inf can get hp buffs, sight scopes, officer buffs and med bunker to keep em alive to make em worth getting.

By design, defensive is more about either volksgrenadiers, or non-upgraded grenadiers, skaffa. You don't get all that many health buffs in defensive(albeit the healing bunker does help with that), and if you're also investing in officers, getting the LMGs is just way out of your pocket.
Sigh scopes is also more of a thing for the K98s, rather than the LMG. The LMG has great accuracy short range as is, and at long range it doesn't really help with all that much.

Why do you keep assuming I'd use them as KCH? Tongue. I don't need the double LMGs - that much firepower at short range is just overkill for me. Pervitin pills is something entirely geared for grenade offensives, rather than LMG ones - at least in my opinion. Of course, using it in cover could be pretty damn awesome against a charging infantry horde.

I played Defensive, spamming grenadiers with scopes, LMGs on a lot of them, officers, med bunker (no medkits). Worked just fine, actually its a pretty good and fun strategy. Grenadiers can stay alive for a long time and get a lot of kills.

Moving LMGs would have suited that pretty well.
Dual LMGs I probably wouldnt have gotten since at its current state its too expensive, and I prefer to have scopes on a lot of units. However I would be more likely to get them playing like this than playing with Terror.

It's honestly just better to spam scoped rifles, skaffa.

If you stack Defensive positions, officer boost and scopes - you've got 80 percent accuracy at long range with your grenadier rifles(this is ignoring veterancy).

That's enough to kill 2-3 riflemen every volley from 2 grenadier squads. Wink.
Me and Elitegren used it ourselves too.

LMGs could be useful in keeping the enemy at long range, though, I guess.

The reason why defensive isn't getting dual LMGs and moving LMGs is to make sure you can't stack a simply silly amount of buffs on your men, resulting in terminators.
