Don't forget it is a COMMAND unit, not a uberbersekertanker ! If it is a comand tank it has to have an aura ( like brit command tank), or you have to rename it: "French über prototype tank"

yeah, the buffs suck coz it can also fire its main gun.
not like thats so awesome, a CCT with flank speed is about 100 times more useful than an actual gun.

Hum, to be honest, the hotchkiss command tank was nothing more than shit. Of course, it can snipe 1-2 guys. Pit him against a rifle squad with stickies, the stickies wins. Pit him against an Ab squad, hum do I really need to point out that you won't even have time to kill one? Then, pit the Famed hotchkiss gun against a tank.... Hum, m8 kills 2 hotchkiss easily, unless they got the upgun. And you need at least 4 upgunned hotkiss to take on a sherman.
So well, hotchkiss gun is shit. I remeber back in 0.06 where my japg killed 4 airbornes squads in 3 shots with the hotckiss buffs. That was op. Now all I can say it's well: hotchkiss buff.... Did I put that on? I mean the buff nowadays are really bad. So indeed this unit needs a change...

hochkiss command doctrine should just be replaced with some doctrine that makes the hochkiss self actually useful:
a top mg gunner and a main gun that has the performance of half a p4 gun would be a start (make it some sort of panzer III)

The main issue would be the armor. A tank that dies to 2 atg shots?

that too, all the light vehicles with 300 hp have m8 armour, only the hochkiss and staghound have stuart armour. but the stag has 450 hp and does more damage than the hoch, which has 300 hp. chanse to hit hochkiss is 0.65 at long range. and if it misses the bullet can still hit the tank.
