other points:

capping territory seems kinda bugged. one time i cap territory with my kettenkrad, then when i leave it in there the enemy caps it again. or when i and my enemy have inf in a terriory it swaps from neutral to friendly every 2 seconds.

you obviously are comparing it to EIR, its a completely different system.  each entity adds % per second of ownership..  If they have more entities then you in sector they add % to their ownership per entity more then you have. and will actually take it over even if your in sector.  none of that 1man in sector holding it.

your idea of spam must differ then most, the units are hard limited to usually 1 on the field of any type at a time per player, using the same vehicle over and over after they die is not classed as spam by majority of sane individuals.

I like the fast dying system, if it's realism it's suitable.

i think the only thing that might be is that the tanks are a tad bit cheaper then they should be, or infantry are sometimes too expensive, depending on which you are buying.  they are prob buying the heavy assault infantry and then running out of money faster ...

I didnt think the tanks/inf prices were too off par. I always had plenty of mp in the end for inf, of course i was using it to spot for tanks, recrew, cap territory, chase at guns etc. You know the shit it is supposed to do. What I think these mens is complaining about is the lack of booty when they is locked up. And also they are using inf like they do in EiRR and vCoH. Blobbing AB/Rangers/Grens/whatever is not an effective counter in itself to armor and your blobz gets pwnzored. I think inf is fine at its price compared to armor. Slow mines would be a huge help in using at guns etc to a better potential. right now you can have 3 76/p4 or whatever and only 1 at gun and 1 shreck. It makes the options to defeat armor limited.

actually that is a good point, too many of the base tanks are fieldable at a time in relation to the counters.

was on my list to check but ... never got that far Wink

I always thought the pricing was pretty good myself as well, as most infantry will cost between 10-45 manpower each (assault heavy squads being the high end) and most light vehicles will cost between 30-50ish munition each, and each tank GENERALLY i think runs around 60-75 at starting costs up to 115 for the heavys in fuel.

basically the price range i was aiming for per unit type. 

I do wonder what type of infantry they are running and how they are running it thou..

as you will be able to tell there is a large difference between the US Infantry and the German Panzer Divisions.

this being most instantly notable that the US infantry division has fewer columns for its tanks, and the German Panzer has 4 rows per columns for its tanks.  as well as the german division having 1 less infantry column and ultimately less options on what infantry it will have available.

specific company types will have different amount of unlocks available to them.  The Panzer companies unlocks will undoubtably cost more then the infantry unlocks as well when it comes to tanks, but will be cheaper on the infantry then the infantry divisions will be, taking longer to get to the super heavies and leading some choices away from them if the player is in dire need for an instant stop gap.

i'll work on developing these two companies first, and get the first version out when they are both finished.

oh gosh when?... uh when I do it?  LOL I haven't worked on it for the last week.. woops.. WOT Smiley

I got all the new tanks into the american side to test them out and re-balance them from the crazy N44 balance they seemed to have .. you know 200+ dmg 90+ range..

i'm working a block of shifts 11pm-7am so my computer time will be cutt down this week, but I think i'll spend some time working on finishing one of them during this time if I can.

The 25 pounder was removed and a No. 19 radio was added along with a map table (quite possibly used for poker, and various drinking games at night) ; this vehicle was used to control battery fire (you know we all want to see a Artillery version of the CCT)

keep me updated on any canadian stuff we need.. but tbh that won't happen till at least the stuff we have is in..
