too players, who did play both sides, but got banned from balance for being goofballs, they where here a year ago or so.. but since havent seen them.. unless, of course they are smurfing

also, quick question, i downloaded all 3 from the actual site, and now i have all three Rars. i do what. theres no autoinstaller.

ya, I never got to the EXE version, I guess before I continue working on it i should actually fix that part up first .


you un-rar them into the company of heroes directory.   it is all the pathways inclusive in it already.  the best way to update is the mappack, then G then J..

I'll redo the install for them so that it will be only 1 install in the next couple days, easy enough to do.  hmmm  sorry I haven't spent time to fix this part in the last few months.

btw its better as a multiplayer game, I work in a few mins for the next 8 hours, but maybe I'll check and see if your around over the next few days on vent.

the models and gun sounds are very nice, i see you havent been able to put in the real russian weapons for the russians ;P and yea you cannt play against AI unless you use factions without the ? thing

well thats probably because i never kept the lua constant file up to date, as there was never really a reason to, except in skirmishes.

Actually the russians are coming.  I was talking to my "contact" in eastern front and I have permission to add models into FOF before they are released because FOF is a non-publicly released mod.  IE:  its only talked about here, and on my own forum.  Not ModDB or Relicnews.  as such, he classes it as private still, and has allowed me to use the models.

so ... when I do get back to working on it, i'll rework russian infantry and add in russian armor first.. then the finnish (kinda need new skins for them thou) and probably volksturm .. after that it would be the luftwaffe ground forces, US rangers, US airborne, British Infantry, British Commandos, German Stormtroopers (truppen whatever) the German Blitzkrieg tactics, Canadian Artillery, Canadian Armor, german luftwaffe ground forces.


had planned for glider companies, and i got that working previously (half done) but then I messed up teh AI somewhere, and i hated how the gliders worked.. so i re-did the svn update ...

althou now there is some wierd AI error when one of the base AI's try to do some action.. track it down sooner or later.
