so why was wind so good with one?

1 tiger with dual repairs is just enough... have storms on field,2x with schrecks are amaizing ...and always have mg,ostwind,or storms with stg44 etc. covering them, never leave them unsuported or they will die very fast...

I ran dual blitz tigers last reset.

They slaughter infantry really well - which should be their main purpose. Tiger should be used to deter tanks, and leave serious AT duty to Pak38s.

The main reason why the Blitz tiger is nice to use is because of the tank commander - you get to maximise the range on the big gun without a spotter.

Just get a pak to protect against allied tanks, and a mortar to take out stickies/PIATs hiding behind shot blockers and the Tiger will kill the rest.

I run two Tigers and I like it...as was mentioned, use them to eat infantry and scare away armor. They tend to have the effect of forcing the allied player to bring on AT, which you then counter with your infantry and paks...in theory.
