Before you make the decision to join the military at a point where we are about 2 seconds away from going to war with the most militarized country in the entire world (NKorea), I would agree with the idea of trying a different city.
LOL.

Really? You are worried about North Korea?
You do know that Iraq had the 4th largest military in the world and lasted all of 4 days. North Korea would be straight fucked if they really tried anything, they have no friends. Of course thats why they really don't try anything and just rattle their cage acting all tough.

Yea, but their range is extremely limited. Their launch sites will probably be dropped before they can do anything though. Any fight with NK will start with NK, launching probably, so they can guarantee their missiles will get into the air.

Dont worry about NK. Join the active/reserves. If NK gets in a war the regime KNOWS they will not exist after the war. Any way the war would play out the regime WILL die. I dont think Mr. Kim Jon Ki or whatever his face is just that retarded that hes going to start a dumb war that will get him kicked out and executed.

Lol, there are already SK and we already have soldiers stationed over there. If they need help they will send in some of the active. The reserve wouldnt be needed for puny NK since china isnt involved. Anyway they proboly do have better munitions than iraq (Puny iraq tanks couldnt penetrate our tanks) And the NK pretty much have a modified T72. I remember looking at a leaked picture of it a while ago. I have no doubt our american tanks and the K1 and K2 will be able to penetrate its front armour from 1000m. Now NK has ALOT of entrenchment (you can even see the artilery being covered and the trenches on google earth) But their shouldn't be a problem. We will get past their AAA networks and bomb them artillery Off-topic: ooooh the T95 might be showed at the nizhny tagil coolbeans stuff man.

You should head overboard. I mean if you can't find employment in your own country you should head to another state or to another country. Not mexico because coporations there hire only uneducated cheap labor. Instead you should try Europe for example.
Dont go to europe They have huge unemployment too, and dont go to Britain cos we have hardly any jobs aswell, dont need you stealin them :p i only got mine cos the goverment paid for it I was told on my first day that they thought i was way too overqualified but other guys taht showed up for the interviews were total chavs/neds/scumbags so i got it. What kind of job was it? In what way did you have too much brain for it?

They arnt clear lol unless your sarcastic. You can only somewhat makeout what it is. The trenches are obvious but the anti air sights are like wtf is that a conrete bunker? And they put their self propeled artilery in metal boxes (Wtf?)
Anyways on topic hope you find a job mate. Iggi should get back to us about what hes deciding to do on from here. Shouldnt be too hard finding a job. I live in Stafford (down from houston) and theres a few open jobs out here and there, and soon I might start learning to rebuild transmissions.

Iraq was easy, Russian material man, its cheap but its very crap and Iraqies didn't have all too much of new toys.
+ The whole land SCREAMS for mechanized army deployment, so open, so wide terrain with some mountains as expectation. North Korean lands will be entirely different.

Lol so you say we should be mainly using handheld AT and air support when they have TONS of tanks which would be easy targets for us? Russian matieral isnt cheap, they sell export versions which are much worse than their own, also the T72 they were using were very outdated and maintained. Munitions plays a BIG role in penetration to. Steel penetrator vs. Uranium penetrator who do you think has more penetration?

You risk your life every day anyway, right now statistically he's safer overseas in the military than he is at home, going off common risk factors for our age group and gender.

Well it's his decision ultimately, but I know that you'll agree that the military is a big commitment regardless of whether or not it's safe statistically.

Have you ever considered the path of self employment just to get some kind of wage in. You'd be suprised at how simple stuff like window cleaning can grab quite abit of money in if you get a wide enough customer base.

It's a commitment, I don't feel like it's a heavy burden for me though. In fact, I freaking love it. Extra money every month, training, benefits, etc.
I'm trying to get deployed but too many people are volunteering right now.

Latest on H.R. 5618
(For those of you who are unaware, this is the Restoration of Emergency Unemployment Compensation Act of 2010)
Source: Examiner.com
Delay is the word of the week, while millions wait for legislative officials’ actions to assist unemployed job seekers. West Virginia Governor Joe Manchin has decided not appoint an interim replacement to the late Senator Robert Byrd (FR-D-WV) seat until Friday, July 16, and as late as Sunday, July 18.
“In a perfect world, Friday night I make an appointment,” he told The Associated Press yesterday. “In a perfect world, by Monday I make my announcement of what my intentions are.”
The latest statement by Governor Manchin pushes the date back on a vote taking place in the Senate on one of the two unemployment extension bills; American Jobs and Closing Tax Loopholes Act -H.R.-4213 and Restoration of Emergency Unemployment Compensation Act-HR-5618, until the week of Monday, July 19.
