I don't ?  coho will have bigger community because it's free- more potential eir players , and those who play EIR will just follow

so it's a win-win situation for everyone

so it's a win-win situation for everyone
Now correct and I think they don't want to have any other games or mods to fight with

they would be stupid not too, games with mods have really long lives. Plus i am sure relic could work out deals with modders so relic still makes micro money.

(BTW, look at world of tanks it has a drop box on the front screen usually a indicator of a mod selector)

Hero Unit as an upgrade for vet3's that you start levelling all over again would be fun =)

If EiR were to be implemented into CoH:O then do we still have to deal with the commander stuff or can it just be exactly like it is now?

Because relic was supporting moders all the time...

Ye, eir hasn't with all acces to units for free, that would be normaly in microtransaction- so it is a potential money lose for relic

It'd be exactly as it is now. It would just need to detect which exe you run off of. Not sure how it would perform as far as patching is concerned, because they've tweaked alot of stuff. shouldn't see an issue with it though

EIR uses its own file systems, wouldn't matter ultimately, the rgds are all in dif directories for a reason.  The scar to run the game might need tweaking though, or atleast the modules would need different workups.

You'd have yourselves a HUGE mod if you added the OF factions.
Would probably be better off without the two extra factions and grant the US & Wehr some of their units through reinforcements/warmap.

lol no , eir is a mod  it's not coho , it's totaly different ,it has nothing to do with coho 'microtransactions' or 'units'. EIR has its own units , your logic is flawed.

the question is would we want the of factions? Wink or was it better with 2 only?

less hassle for balancers with 2 thats for sure

porting EIR to coho wouldn't be too much trouble as i heard the files are nearly identical right? correct me if i'm wrong.
