So how are they in EiR play? does their speed make them useless because of ATGs?
Also, what's the difference between the IV and the VI?

Well I play as Axis and churchill got really strong armor, and rapes infantry and it's even greater if you unlock "Dig in" for armor.
It's pretty strong against 88 to at long range, bah i'd say its worth 1-2 church

Churchies are HELL in this mode, I underestimated them SO many times it's not funny.
One Flamer Churchie wiped out 2 Stugs when it was at half health because I thought I could roll it and get away.
It too so long, by the time it was nearly dead, Mr Churchie had brough his friends, Mr RR Airbourne and Mr AT Gun. They wasn't happy with my bullying...
So in simple, Yes, they are worth it, if only for one or two as Grunde said

yo, there are 4 different variants, one of them is the worst tank in the game, one is meh, the other is good and the last one is pretty good.

MK IV honestly sucks more than the old stuart.
MK VI is decent, but you'd rather have a regular sherman in most cases.
AVRE makes you happy. Nothing more, nothing less.
And Crocodile is for the sadistic pricks that like the smell of burning volks.

Mark 4 is awesome for Tank shock, suppresses inf and roll over them
Mark 6 is much better then a sherman, as you got sherman splash and range against inf and smacks down any inf against you (shrek squads refuse to penetrate me) can kill halftracks, and light vehicles and p4 variants takes around 30 shots for atg to kill (I <3 mk6)
AVRE is a waste of effort Mark 6 will generally do you more
And Croc is awesome
They may be slow but thier long body can easily inf crush with a bit of micro

Alternatively, you can buy the 3 popcap wickers to have a permanent and, in fact, significantly better version of Tank Shock that also happens to have Suppressive Fire. Which is made of even more awesome. You can use the other 7 popcap to just about nearly field an AVRE, which happens to be full of win.
Mark 6 is, however, thoroughly raped by the presence of a pak. Pew pew - and it's retreating already.
AVRE is 8 popcap. 8. And you get the most ultimate lolz unit ever. It's nearly always efficient - and if it isn't.. Who gives a shit, you have an AVRE.
And yes, Croc is win.
