Just some ideas I've been tooling over with Airborne, just curious how it would be received. Not really making a suggestion but just wonder if they would be considered OP.

I started thinking down this line because assault teams for infantry are so fail.

Airborne Engineers
4 man 4 pop
Airdroppable, can place mines and demo's, no gun upgrades, no flame thrower, can cut wire and build defenses.  
Not sure if giving it the hmg bunker makes sense.

Airborne Assault Teams
4 Men 6 pop
Comes with sprint instead of fire up.
Can be upgraded with Tommys or Flamethrower
Gains smoke grenade?

both can be a possible replacement as a T2 for either the sniper or the mines as the sniper some say is useless and the mines some say is op.

AB assault teams are outdone by AB Rifle squads.

AB engineers seem pointless, just bring out regular engies in a HT for about the same pop, more mines, more demo's, and good AI ability.

Gotta Agree with AM on this one Tym sorry man, but it doesn't seem like much of a point to bring extra units into the game when they are really not needed.

New units for AB huh. Well, thats a tough one.

Airlanding Infantry? Gliders can be purchased for Infantry and support teams. Allows landing anywhere. Cheaper than the AB versions, but without fireup, AB armor or extra health.

75mm Pack Howitzer, Airdrops in a container (crates) and crew is separate. They can go and build it and basically get a small mobile gun that allows them to blast buildings and bunkers. Use the German LeIG model till a different one is found (think there is an AB pack howitzer out there already though...might be in the same model package).

Because I'm getting annoyed at how many arty pieces the allies have?
Their ability to wipe out whole squads in one shot in a mod like this bloody annoying, and having to deal with at least an arty piece a game is bleeding lame.
The last thing I want is too give the allies yet another one. So that will mean, allied company can get these sort of things (Cally, Howi, "airdroppable" howi and 25 pounder for all the brits). Compare that to what the axis can get...Hummel and if you you get t3 in defensive, an 88 too. That's not really that fair, and also, the 88 can only fire 3 shells, the hummel is the same I believe.
The callopie on the other hand can blanket an area of pain, the 25 and howis fire around 4-6 shells a piece, so yeah. Can we not add more howis into the game...its getting annoying :/

Arty is a part of the game. The nebel can cause enormous problems for allies, and a SE hummel with that fire barrage can rack up tons of kills.

I bet RE players are a bit miffed as well when the anti building barrage literally DELETES all their emplacements.

Its part of the game I know, but the most annoying I find ;(
Like depressing annoying, specially when it means that the allies can just hold the majority of map and just...stay there, but if the axis try and do that, we will get arty'd to hell and back :/

Wait, so we should remove the Mortar, Nebel, Stuka, Officer, Stuka HOchkiss, 88, and Tiger's because they can all 1 shot squads or are artillery?

I'm all for on map Arty. The ones I hate is the offmap crap.

rr's are fine, its when u have 25% health bonuses is when they get OP
