I installed EIR on my computer and it completed installation, but when I go to start the game, AutoUpdate v 1.05 pops up and says "Could not download file list, please try again later."

...WHAT??? I thought I just installed the latest version!

Note: It's in the Company of Heroes Directory but it STILL says that it needs to be moved to the correct directory.

check if it is like this: C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\Autoupdater.exe

and not something like this:  C:\Program Files (x86)\THQ\Company of Heroes\Company of Heroes\Autoupdater.exe

Okay, I reinstalled...

I go to launch.

The autoupdater gives me the same message. Then nothing happens. The game doesn't launch or anything. It's in the correct directory. I'm just about ready to quit this :/

Put the autoupdater.exe file in the same folder as reliccoh.exe, if it doesn't run (the autoupdater will download all the files automatically), there's something wrong with your CoH install.

Doesn't matter, the autoupdater always checks if you have the right files.

Could be that you installing it IN the coh folder, there's a bug where it makes the Company of heroes folder, so if its installed to <x>...THQ>Company of heroes then just select THQ.
Hope this helps ^^

This is not because of the installer location.

If it says 'cannot download file list' that means there is some sort of block between your computer, the internet and then our server.

Check for proxies (in IE is most common), or a firewall.

- I know other people have solved this, please post it here.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
