Yeah calbanes, I mean - some people like smokaz are still yet to win a single game, even though they've been around here for years.

I would advice you not to use multiple tiles of grass.
Use a base grass type, then throw lots of splats on it instead.

Currently it just looks weird.

Also, not convinced about the atmosphere setting. Perhaps take some close up shots of areas, allows for better judging (hard with the fog from that perspective)

I know you did Leo. It just stands out as the 2nd most map related moment in my mind. I wish I had a vent recording of my choice words at the time

Multiple vehicle micro is my strongest skill in EiR. it was an un microable situation because the pipe was only partially above ground, but it still blocked everything in it's footprint, above or below the terrain.

Got to play on this.

My first thoughts is that its too small for a 3vs3 map.

You can be half way across the map in 5 seconds. I believe if 2 88s were positioned correctly on the lake bed that the fire radius from both 88s could reach from end to end of this map with ease.

North side could use more defensible positions. The south side has 2 urban areas, but the north side has a church in the middle and a house on the top left.

It is entirely too easy to spawn camp and i shutter to think what a LW blitz coy could do on this map with some pumas. they'd make it across the bridges with spawn buff if on the roads for the trip.

But altogather, i liked it, very aggressive map. I need to play it again to accurately judge how it preforms under games that dont have 2 88s from the start. Tongue

yea,a bit to small,if it was just longer it would be better...and yeah, south side has more defensive positions than north...
you can't place mines on bridge's  Undecided
and more light would be better...
yea, once you push them, you can easly just camp their spawn, since your units will also arrive very quickly ...

-sandbags added to reduce 88 efectiveness and to make north side more defendable
-barbed wire on edges
-building on north side to further reduce 88 effectiveness and improve the north side defences
-try and find the other bit *hint* outside playable are left of the northeset corner of the map
