Something needs to be done about gliders.
- they spot enemies
- they block enemies
- destroyed they give cover to your commandos
- units will prefer to shoot the glider instead of an actual thread: schrecks will shoot on the glider instead of tanks, puma circling will shoot glider instead of enemy stuff, etc.

The glider should be changed to 0 LOS. The rest is part of the parcel to do with the risk of insta-death commandos ;p

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.
That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.
Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

I guess changing it to 0 LOS is an easy RGD fix, we can fix that.

and target priorities?
I think it would be best for units NOT to shoot gliders by themselves. this way they wont be distracted from shooting other stuff and your units also wont show up in the enemy FOW when they walk by (attack) the glider.
it will be an issue though when the thing is still landing, then noboddy will shoot it down. maybe its type can be changed once it has landed? just like normal bunkers switch from building_under_contruction to something else?

If you don't automatically let them shoot gliders they will also not try to kill the glider before the crew manages to get out, significantly lowering the risk of glider death in combat drops.

you could give them an armour type like PE halftrack or something, that would mean anti inf weapons would prefer to target the commandos over the glider once deployed, but still be a target while airborne.
or, switch its target type when it lands with the on land actions to something with no autotarget search or the like
there's a free hint =P

How about while gliders door is opening and glider is destroyed. Then will units inside still manage to get out like dying halftrack. Hate to lose vet3 because some mg was there to shoot it while the door opens sooooo slowly

There was a big stink raised a while ago about this (as well as Demo charges giving LoS, too), and nothing was done about it. Good to see omniscient gliders going away, though.
