I'll have to do Antigua, I tried Roberts because everyone was on it and the Lag was so terrible. I was smashing my turn keys and my ship just kept going straight for like 5 mins, then suddenly I was beached beside a fort couldn't turn and had the entire length of my ship in his broadside. I tried it for about 20 mins and it was just lag interspersed with the occasional catchup action where I'd suddenly be in a new setting getting stuck or shot.
Also anywhere you can see your ping/Packetloss in game?
Im gonna say thats you brn (turn off your downloads), Im playing Roberts and im in the same city as you and i get no lag at all. |

Good question, I don't know. My in game name is Erwin NH <-- with a space inbetween. Add that name to your friend list and i'll invite you to the soc when I log in next. FLS has server load problems. Now that literally thousands of people are coming back, they're gonna have to deal with those again. They'll settle down though. |

I just recently logged back in and found out that they have added 1st and 2nd rates again.
If we got any eir players still playing this or want to start (again) we should start a society etc.
Its actually pretty fun.

Haven't touched that game for years, hell if I can remember any details aside from boats and pirates  Privateers were legal pirates that fought in the interests of a paying country so I know that much, it was more a dig at your "Fighting for the crown"... To much honour there, I prefer the mercenary route  |

Well you can do most of the things people who pay can do for free so i should rewrite my words but still when i played it paying users had an upper hand in most parts of the game.
you can still get quite the enjoyment out of this game but keep in mind its semi addictive.
