Player "Rofl" (AB)

Axis players head to menu and buy Ostwinds and LMG grens and tons of paks to counter AB RR + Sherman Croc spam

It would require people to not run with just spamming their doctrine units all over the place....

Problem being, some Doctrines buff a whole lot more stuff than others.

spam alarm would be pretty damn sweet tbh. a number next to each player that shows how much pp hes oversupplied.

I find it interesting that changing your company around just to counter one guy is an acceptable tactic here, whereas in a wargame if you do that you're going to get punched in the dick. A pretty big contrast, and I'm not sure what causes the big difference in attitude towards army building.

You do realise that when people run spam... it is usually within the limits of the "Soft Cap"/Pool right?

Would be nice to simply say which unit he has the MOST of. (i.e. 30x Rifles lol)

In most Wargames you are technically supposed to know the scenario, and what army the opponent is taking before you make a list.

So for 40k, you know you are attacking IG with your SM playing Planetfall, then you build the list.

For Flames of War, you know you are defending on Hold the Line with American Infantry vs German Panzergrenadiers, then make your list.

It just happens that in most scenarios for 40k, everything is already cheesed out to hell so it doesn't matter, and the people that do worry about it will whine when they run into an optimized list.

Cloud, that would be completely useless because you will always have more basic infantry than you will have of any one other thing.

Pool values doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. You could easily tell when someone was doing something silly like 15+ M8 spam.

if your going to do that why not just let people see eachothers companies...then you would get people constantly changing their builds untill 1 side gives up and just RTL'd.

Will be a very handy when a blitz doct comes in and i can witch to my armour doc to counter Tigers....

I say its a good idea, purly so you know what your getting yourself into and what you can roughly expect from the enemy.

HAHAHAHA!  Good analogy - Id punch someone in the dick if they changed their army cos they knew what I had ;p

Although, in saying that - what happens if they went Support unit heavy (as Airborne) - and had heaps of AT etc?

Would be a funny double bluff.

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

I would agree tho with the "no swapping to counter the builds"

I wouldnt except that in a game of tabletop Warhammer, i wouldnt do it here.

I'm not sure if I've ever told you this guys, but none of my companies that I ever made in the supply pool system we have now have been oversupplied by even 1 PP.

Yet, I'm still called a spammer.

Gotta loves it.
