I currently have two computers for my differant workplaces, one of which is amazingly new and custom built.

windows 7
6gbs of physical memory
600gbs ofspace
2gbs of video memory
brand new top on the line processcer (dual core)

But it cannt run world builder for its life. its slow, and laggy and takes forever to load anything

while my shitty computer with

exp
2gbs of memory
100gbs of space
512mbs of video memory

runs it super super smooth like no tommorow

One of the things i noticed on my high end computer is, when i first start a map it runs fine, when once i reopen it at a later date, theres all these extra little details everywhere, like little green things in the grass and the garss textures actualy have garss comming out of them, alot of uneeded stuff, any way to get rid of it?

Windows 7 x64 hates running 32bit graphical apps.

Unless its uber powerful, get used to almost all your older games acting like shit.

(Note: Most of my games work fine in win 7 x64, just saying)

Shit I'm pretty sure you could offer the guy a cup of coffee and he'd try to kill you with the mug if you forgot sugar.

That's like offering Beer to fuck the fat chick. It will work for a while, but it's not gonna last. Not only that, but there is zero motivation for the Fat chick to loose weight.

Why don't you collect up your love beads and potpourri and find something constructive to do.

Now bear makes his own funny thread. It's unsurprisingly not funny.

My biggest note is that you didn't say what your graphics card is, that could make a huge difference depending on make/model. Also make sure your drivers are updated.

turn down the graphics settings on world builder, it can sometimes load it as DX10 which saps your FPS.

can't remember exactly which button it is, but its one of the top menus, and you need todo it before you load a map
