so, a lot of games get about 10,000 to 30,000 points, maybe make it like 100,000 points per level and a full coy tops out at a million...that just sounds cool Cheesy (my account has a million freakin points!)

Ill be honest, that sounds so much better then the grindless system

I agree with spartan here. It sounds pretty damn good.

Instead pof rewqarding you for a hard earned game at a set amount. Get rewarded for your hard earned over 100 kills!

Although it may change a few aspects of the game...

Tym's idea seems like a reward system that favors the established members.  This does not sound very forgiving to the casual gamer or someone new.

It will be quite obvious that kills scored or points received would favor the players who are familiar with the system, units, and custom maps.

New players would have to grind that much harder...

Lets find a system that promotes the hard work a few have committed to this mod and promote a larger player pool.

They deserve it.

another idea on how to track it: compare the xp your units have before and after the match. but then you won't get points for the kills your units that died got right?

it rewards you if you do well and if you win. While I agree it may hurt some newer players but then you can just do the same thing that's done now. you play a higher level than you, you get a higher percentage. if two 1 plays twos 9's, then maybe the 1's get 150% added on.

also, i've seen some good newer players and some horrible established players, so it doesn't reward them, it rewards you when you do well regardless if you win or lose.

coh:o has that system in place. if you get a lot of kills, even if you lose you get a lot of supply although ur xp gain is lower.

Dafuq man, don't ask for proof if you'll refuse it if it's not in your favor, logic fallacy for the bloody win.

I think the devs should give it a run and see how it goes.  It sounds fair enough.

And you can't bitch about anyone but yourself

And lets be honest, it wouldn't take that many games to get to max level

i don'T like it

it sounds good on first look but i don't like it exactly because of the reason blanzalot said

casual players who don't level up quick because they are not playing many games would be punished ontop of that

they get probably less xp then their teammates and that stacks with less games played to earn xp

so a casual player would need maybe 1-2 month to get a max company while i would need maybe a weekend

i doubt that there will stay many casual players because first day they loose because of skill level and some days after they loose ontop of that because playing with rank2 company against rank9s

Being a very very casual EiR player, I have to agree with Blanzalot on this one. The game is already terribly imbalanced towards new players because of veterancy, no need to make it worse.

then just give it extra bonus for fighting high level company's with low level ones, like it was,not so long ago...I remembre going against wind and smokaz, even though they would nail me hard, but atleast I would get fare ammount of xp.

Hell, most new players wouldn't know what to do with a max company within a month anyhow

When you have to work for your company, even if your not that good as a casual player, it WILL keep you coming back from more. don't need to give any examples we've already been through that

Oh my, 2 fixes in one

right, no early dropping. it keeps you in the game to try and get kills just so you can get more xp
