wow, that's gay. i guess they didnt' get enough cash out of it as they thought. it was a horrible model for trying to make money. they could've easily put some ads up and also made it so u can use coh cash for other stuff rather than as a separate form of supply.

Also a system for fair matchups would be nice so new guys dont get scared away after 1 game, as u cant stop the community from stackstomping every eir virgin they see.

COH servers will be alive, it's not like coho where they have to invest in development and expect cash revenue from microtransactions.Here people had to buy the game so the costs already paid back, and if they'd want they can pump out more expansions with minimal cost (look ToV where 2 devs made it if i remember correctly) Homeworld 2 is from 2003 and relic didn't pull the plug yet with minimal players playing |

This is no surprise, just as tym said before their payment model was terrible. Players were given too much freedom and never had to purchase CoH:O cash.
Recruiting new players to EIR is a good idea, just don't spam.
