The other option is to roll into range, hit halt, cloak, fire, decloak and move.

You still get the ambush bonus and it's easy to do with the 45 sight on the Hellcat.

Or combine with a Jeep, use the Jeep to spot armor movements farther out and adjust your ambush spot accordingly. I like to set them to the sides.

Regardless of the tactics, all of which i've used, I think the M18 deserves a small buff. That's why the buff i suggested was a minor one.

Why do you think it needs a small buff?

An M18 is more than enough to cripple or kill a P4.

It costs a small amount of fuel and low manpower.

It is immune to non-AT weapons.

It can cloak to repair if need be, behind enemy lines.

Why does it need a buff?

Lets just make the M18 a light armor counter. We don't want a M10 replica. I'm proposing a maneaverability increase.

M8's work as a Light Armour counter tbh... And for 5 fuel less, you can get two of them compared to an M18.

I mean I know Obama was the first one in EiR to get a card. and tbfh the Race card is pretty OP. but Romney has the K.K.K., those guys seem to camo anywhere. So OP units from both sides.
At the end of the day, however, stormtroopers finally got the anal invasion with a cactus they have richly deserved for years.

i have always said the m18 needs some love in this game, gun needs to penetrate more and it needs to be more mobile, i.e. more speed and accel, and with the patch its getting it.. so thats cool, no need to buff in mod after the patch.

Doesn't mean we are taking these changes to EIRR. We only apply certain stuff from the relic patches to the EIRR version if CoH.

i would just take the speed, the freaking m18 was fastest afv of the war, and now it cant run from stugs or p4s.

How many more times do you have to be told that realism has absolutely nothing to do with gameplay? This is a game for gods sake.

Only true in the strict sense.

Otherwise give me Volks with shoulder launched V2. What? It could be balanced out, I promise. Oh, not realistic? K.

yeah, lets go down the realism road. M10s with hand cranked turrets ftw!
Never seen such an awesome unit become so useless in the coh realism mods out there.

M18 is just weird shit. like all the ToV units. At least the m18 isn't OP. It needs a professional player to operate it well.
