I'm just curious, I did a search and found nothing, when/why was the WP removed from the T-17? And while I'm asking, why did it get moved to 10 pop on top of such a price increase? On top of being a T1 unlock. I haven't even really used them, but I think out of all the units it had gotten changed the most from when I used to play.

Its terrible now adays.  

WP rounds were ninja removed along with the original canister on Stuarts when Stuarts got ninja changed as well.  

The WP rounds were deemed to powerful because you could disable a tank for 5 seconds and then an ATG could fire 1 maybe 2 shots at it, or rather 2 M-10s could come begin to rape a lone tank.   The devs felt that was unfair and multiple T-17s Using WP rounds were found they could cycle on a tiger making it not fire for 15-20 seconds and that was to op.

THe 10 pop cap change really occured as a last result after multiple nerfs, And as a last result they felt that it should cost more than a stug because it was that deadly to inf.  

Personally, I never see them anymore, Nor do i use them because they are 120FU, An M18 i 165 and M10 is 190 and M8 is 80.

With all the Nerfs to it, its an under performing over priced unit without any upgrade capability and now it does not dodge any form of AT so as a light armor unit has little to no survivability and it does not penetrate armor, or pumas from the front, or ostwinds from the rear.

So quite literally its a 10 pop cap armored Quad with no supression.

Thanks puddin, because the three times I used the T-17 I wanted to pull my hair out. I couldn't damage a hummel with two, they seemed as easy to hit as a quad and of course are absolutely not worth the price/pop. Would it have been way easier to just change WP rounds to simply work like a button? It makes me cry inside as an armor player never seeing this unit and knowing that a stug is cheaper.

Also the canister shot is changed? I find that totally out of wack since the last I remember no one used stuarts to begin with, and canisters were deemed over priced at 80mu with one use, and were toned down to do less damage and suppress.

With the comming rework of the T17 in the vCoH beta, we'll look back into this unit.

WP rounds were taken out for reasons that puddin listed and also because we are eventually going to phase out loony toon abilities that cause temporary immobalization and rework engine damaging abilities into temporary stunning "tread dmg" type criticals unless extreamely damaged or the hit is calculated on rear armor.

You know not what you speak of. 

The ability was agreed it needed to be changed or nerfed but then it was removed.

For a while the Sturt Canister was completely gone and th Stuart is completly changed form the Vcoh one. 

The current canister is decent, It suipresses alot but can;t keep units supressed/

Vcoh patch will hit retail soon now, lots of things will be improved, new maps added and current maps are changed.
