This is my new map St. Martin. Im not done with it yet as you can tell. In it i was going to build a few smaller towns besides the larger town in the corner, a forest that is on the edge of the map, a few hills, and some trenchs. I was wondering if anyone has any other ideas on what to add. also on some of the photos the landscape kinda blured on me and that big chunck of regular dark grass wont be like that im going to change it later when i start working over there more. Also i dont know what this mod would think if this is an appropriate map for this mod or not otherwise im just going to put it on filefront

why so much detail at the edge of the map? the battle is never gonna take place there.

Victory point? If this map is for EIRR then there's no reason to have VPs but if for VCoH...

well i don't play this mod to often. I could increase its size and put one of the axis starting points there or i might not if i don't i probably wont put it on here i never said i was going to. o and by the way im going to add detail like that all over the map not just there and i thought maps should have lots of detail thats what i do for halo reach forge (even though i don't like halo but i like their forge)

Make your map, people give input, IT might be adapted for a EIR map if you;d allow.

Also everyone take note, people are coming to us for help, its a good way to build more coh community in a small world.

Welcome.  UNknown, LeoPhone, and some others are some good mappers, they will have some good input for you.

when you make a map begin to build in the middle...
even better, make a raw overview sketch first before you do anything else.

This map is not suited for EIR at all. and it doesn't really makes sense to make a topic about it here.
there are a lot of other forums like these:
http://www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?s=277ab54e1f9e906a0b2c2869f13f1586&showforum=1439
and these:
http://forums.relicnews.com/forumdisplay.php?194-Maps-Bunker
where people would be 1000 times more interested in your map. and would be much more suited to give you feedback on the map.

have fun mapping, and if you ever wish to make a map for EIR I suggest to take a look at a few of the popular maps over here ( http://forums.europeinruins.com/index.php?page=96 )  for inspiration on how to properly design such a map.

Well i got the main part done, alot of smaller details and all the reosorce points. i also decided not to put this for this mod, the next map im thinking of is going to be made for mostly tank battles but im not for sure. This is what i have done so far, as you can see alot of changes and some of those blank spots are hills its a bit hard to tell from a screenshot. and again the photo landscape is a bit blurry. if you have any ideas plz reply.
