Hmm my first Tiger did fine. It just overextended, a calculated risk since after I lost my 2000 xp Tiger I dont care if I lose them or not, it had to go back. There was no back up around and it got hunt down. It still had its repair. You could argue the overextending was bad play by me. You could also say that they did well on hunting it down after it escaped. Usually I am always able to use the repair, problem now was it wasnt properly supported.

My 2nd Tiger was also rushed in carelessly, to kill the cromwell. Wasnt of much use. It got finsihed off by Pershing I guess, but by then it was alrdy below half hp irrc.
I agree this wasnt the best game to illustrate the Tigers effectiveness, but I played a lot that were. I think its a good tank and fun to play with.

Don't worry Skaffa- every single replay shows how shite Tiger is so you aren't exactly on a failroll. You can't blame yourself if the faulty lays in the unit

If you had killed the calliope you'd saved your sniper and stormies with a sacrifice of a tiger. Guess what? That tiger would've been cost effective. Sacrifical for certain pieces is always acceptable.
