I'm gonna have to completely uninstall CoH & everything within it, including EiR, and it is gonna take a hell of a time reinstalling it all, patching it and stuff, so I may not be in the launcher to supervise with the scenarios, but hopefully I should be.

Not to worry, I cheated, I had Tales of Valor on steam still installed, so I simply had to add the products for vcoh & OF onto that. Now just need to download EiR again, but into the steam folder.

I once had to download up to newest version.... It was HELL.
I gave up after the first two patches.
Then after 2 months I realized I had a hardon for EIR and actualy finished downloading the patches after like 2 days strait of patching.

The point was I could derail a thread on its 2nd post.
I succeeded to a good extent. Therefore its not dumb as I have proved EIR peoples read only like the last post posted and usually dont look any farther than that.

i remember about 3 months ago i installed COH gold. Ya to get that up to date was the dumbest thing i ever witness in PC history. Install sign in. What it wont let me create or change my profile so i cant sign in and update or create a profile?

No, you suck, relic downloader and steam download patches almost instantly and if that's not good enough for you then you can just go to their homepage and download the patches manually, it's really not that hard to search for "company of heroes patches" and get instantly directed to their patch page and once you have downloaded them once they are saved on your computer. It's not really difficult or time consuming.

HERE IS WHAT WORKS
Step 1 - Install ToV
Step 2 - Download this :http://www.filefront.com/17208542/Desktop.7z
Make sure it is put in C:\mydocuments\companyofheroes\patch. If you just run CoH after this step it WILL NOT WORK
Step 3 - You must go here:http://cohpatch.relic.com/
Step 4 - Download all the patches under ToV
Make sure the patches are in your C:\mydocuments\companyofheroes\patch
Step 5 Run each patch in order
Run Coh - Done!!!

I think I got it working, but now I can't watch replays  because the shortcut already has -relaunchmce at the the end, and putting -mod Europe in ruins just causes it to launch the coh I don't have patched. How do I get around this? I run ToV through steam, because that's where I bought it, so it's the latest version I have. Before the reinstall, I simply ran OF fully patched, so I'm confused might just have to buy ToV from a shop and do ot that way. |

If you have CoH on steam then it's not gonna be in the same folder as your earlier CoH games.

I don't see the problem, change the shortcut so it leads to the patched CoH? Create another shortcut to watch replays with?
